TomTom Interactive Goes Live!
BOSTON, MA - This Columbus Day, TomTom invites you to discover America the easy way by purchasing a personal navigation device for yourself or a loved one. Not a traditional shopping holiday, but one entirely appropriate for the world’s most popular GPS device manufacturer, Columbus Day promotional content is running now on CNET.com.
All the creative assets, developed by the team at Tippingpoint Labs, focus on quickly and easily promoting TomTom’s entry-level Personal Navigation Device (PND) in a fun and creative way.
“The CNET audience provides us with an intelligent, gadget-friendly environment where we can play up the fact that Christopher Columbus could have really used a GPS device. The poor guy went to his grave without knowing that he’d discovered America. That’s funny,” says Tippingpoint Labs partner Jim Cosco.
The content features branded category pages, multiple banner ads and billboards, and pushes users to the TomTom.com store, where they can take advantage of the reduced pricing around Columbus Day.
“This offer won’t last long, and if you’re looking for an easy-to-use PND, this is a great deal,” adds Tippingpoint’s Andrew Davis.
